Our new ITC Reefculture Frag plugs are manufactured from the purest, porous raw ceramic materials, giving them their very pure white colour!
Our plugs were born from the desire to create the very best for the commercial side of reefing community. We wanted to create a plug that is perfectly uniform in dimensions every time, with a high surface area for keying adhesives on the top. Our plugs are injection moulded by our technical partner who is an expert in making dimensionally accurate technical ceramic products – these are literally perfect every time!
This means what when you use our Pure Plugs with our commercial or M-Rack frag rack systems – you’ll always be able to get the maximum number of large plugs in the racks, which have been CAD designed to fit the maximum amount – no overlap, perfectly laid out. OCD perfection! Of course, they will fit in pretty much any other frag rack – but we’re sure that no-one has developed their own plugs and racks in CAD to work so perfectly together!
We have also given both sizes of plug an extra-long stalk to stop them from being toppled over by pesky snails or urchins. The ceramic hardness has been set so that its robust, but easy to snap off when it's time to glue it to the reef.
